California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice (“Notice”) is for California residents and supplements our Data Policy. It explains what Personal Information we collect, why we collect it and with whom we may share it. It also explains how to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

When we say Personal Information in this Notice we mean information that relates to, is associated with or could reasonably be connected, directly or indirectly, with you. It does mean information that can be aggregated or that reasonably cannot be connected with you.

How we collect, use and/or share Personal Information:

SkyBell, through its Technical Support Department, collects names, phone numbers and voluntarily provided emails through our customer software records. We collect this information to provide a recount of incident history and/or a solution for previous or ongoing issues that may require our attention. We also use this information to help us more accurately and quickly research and track purchase history. For example, the information allows SkyBell to determine if a customer used our upgrade program and how long ago the purchase was made, as well as warranty use history, such as whether a user received a SkyBell device in exchange. We generally do not share the information with third parties. We occasionally however may share a user’s name and phone number with our business to business customer, upon its request, in order to help it provide service to its customer, the end user of the device. We also may provide videos to law enforcement in response to a subpoena, warrant or court order.

We do not sell any of your Personal Information.
